(smoothbore), rod-at-the-muzzle, pump-up pneumatics, muzzleloading, walnut quarter stock, nearly identical to the Model C, but with a flat exhaust valve rather than a ball valve, Model E is the patent pending version, round turret-like unit projects to each side of upper rear receiver unit, rear sight about even with front end of one-piece stock, front sight is a triangular blade soldered to top of barrel, Model F was produced after the patent was issued, round turret-like unit projects to each side of upper receiver unit, rear sight about 1 in. back from front end of stock, front sight is a thin metal blade straddling each side of the barrel, Model E guns are the first Benjamins marked with a model letter; they use the Model C flat breech cap overstamped around the edge: "MODEL E PAT.
