COLT BRAZILIAN NAVY CONTRACT Description

Brazilian Navy first procured M1911 pistols in 1921 when a first batch of 200 pistols (scattered through serial numbers C129000 to C131000) were delivered to the Minas Geraes battleship then docked at Brooklyn Naval Yard. Another order was made in 1922 for 500 guns (scattered among serials C128000-C129500).
