16 gauge, percussion, center hammer, revolving, 6 shot cylinder with scene, browned finished in a Damascus pattern 24 or 32 in. barrel marked on right side of lug "-Patent Arms M'g. Co. Paterson, NJ.-Colt's Pt. -" in one line, front pin and either dovetailed block or brazed half moon shape on breech end with U-shaped notch, blue finish, walnut buttstock with minor crescent shaped buttplate, 9 1/4 lbs. Approx. 225 mfg. circa 1839-1841.
