.42 cal. pistol chambers and .63 cal. buckshot (18 ga.) shotgun barrel, single action revolving carbine, 9 shot unfluted cylinder, 23 1/2 in. rifled octagon revolver barrel over 23 1/2 in. smoothbore round shot barrel, straight grip buttstock, no forearm, unusually shaped trigger guard, sling studs on buttstock and barrel band, otherwise same as the 1st Model revolver. Approx. 100 mfg. circa 1862-1863. Less than 20 are known to exist. RF=5+.
