.45-70 Govt. cal., improved design based on the same platform as the Marlin 1895 SBL, 16 in. CHF stainless steel threaded barrel, 5 shot tubular mag., offset hammer spur, Skinner sights, black laminate stock, rubber buttpad, checkered grip panels, crossbolt manual safety, oversized lever loop, sling swivel studs, satin finish, 7 lbs. 2 oz. Reintroduced as a Ruger-made Marlin beginning mid-2022.

Comes with an offset hammer spur for easier manipulation
