.69 cal., lockplate marked "U.States", eagle, and "S.NORTH BERLIN CON", single shot muzzleloader, 8 7/8 in. round smoothbore barrel marked "V", eagle, and "CT" within an oval, double strap (transition) barrel band, no sights, bright metal finish, walnut 3/4 stock with umbrella shaped brass buttcap, "1808" belt hook was added, stock length reduced by 2 in. to accommodate iron double strap barrel band, hickory ramrod. Mfg. circa 1812-1813. RF=4.
